Her Name Was Mary
Evan Frayne/Pacific Theatre

I was the dramaturg for a workshop of Tai Grauman's play Her Name Was Mary, which was hosted by Evan Frayne through his residency with Pacific Theatre.

Inspired by true events, Her Name Was Mary is a collection of pivotal moment shared between two girls at the delicate ages of ten to fifteen. Each of these moments brings them closer to each other, but also further apart, as they navigate isolating eating disorders. Her Name Was Mary takes us into a dream world and backwards through time, charting a young woman's journey towards healing.
